Ragam: Thodi Thalam: Adi Composer: Shri Oottukkaadu Venkata Subbaiar Performed by Aishwarya Venkat disciple of Padmashri Meenakshi Chitharanjan

Plot:
Thaye Yashoda is one of the beautiful compositions of Shri Oottukkaadu Venkata Subbaiar. The poet-composer describes in beautiful Tamil the litany of complaints against a young and very naughty Krishna. What imagination! The Gopikas complain to mother Yashoda about all the naughty tricks and pranks played by Krishna on them. "Oh mother Yashoda, please listen to all the pranks that your son, this Krishna plays on us; One day he came on the streets beautifully dressed, I was admiring him. He danced so gracefully and came near me, I leaped to embrace him so I hugged him. But in return, he planted a kiss on my mouth like my husband! Oh, mother, we haven't seen a son like yours in this world, he isn't a boy at all for all those mischiefs he does! Also, When I picked him as a child and put him on my lap to admire his beautiful face, he opened his mouth and showed me the whole universe within it!" And this is how the gopikas describe Krishna's pranks to Yashoda and ask her to warn him accordingly!
